08-025 Hugo Plínio de Andrade Alves Alves, H.P.(Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte); Costa, A.C.(Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte); Correa, M.A.(Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte); Acchar, W.(Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte); The study of the electrical and magnetic properties of ceramic materials is a research topic that attracts much interest, since the controlled development of magnetic particles dispersed in ceramic tapes is drastically improving its properties, having applications in the electronic, petrochemical and aerospace industries. In this work ceramic zirconia tapes stabilized with 3 mol.% yttrium with 15 wt.% of magnetic particles (TZ-3YE / MP) were developed. The method of microwave assisted combustion was applied to obtain the magnetic particles. The tape casting method was used to obtain the tape. The study of the structural, magnetic and electrical properties was performed through X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, magnetic measurements and electrical measurements. The results put the tape as an attractive candidate for promising applications, such as drug targeting, magnetic resonance imaging, magnetic devices, ferrofluids, magneto-optical materials, among others.
