The powder from the marble cut is generally wasted, this corresponds to a percentage of 25 to 30% of the waste. The present research aims to study the feasibility of the use of marble powder in building blocks made of concrete. The powder of marble will be used in the specimens with different percentages - 5, 10, 15 and 20% - after the addition of the residues, the test specimens underwent compression tests in order to verify the resistance. The results for the test specimens of 5 and 10% were satisfactory, but the specimens with the highest marble powder content showed a decrease in strength when compared to concrete blocks without the addition of residues. Therefore, it is concluded that the marble powder can be added to the concrete in low percentages, mitigating the impact that these residues generate in the environment.
